Plaza Premium Group (PPG) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr Bora İşbulan as the Group’s Deputy CEO. In this new role, Mr İşbulan will lead the Group’s global expansion plan and continue the successful execution of the company’s business transformation strategy.
Mr Bora İşbulan joined Plaza Premium Group in 2020 and has been instrumental in steering PPG’s global expansion. Under his leadership, the company is targeting to grow from over 180 lounges to more than 500 lounges by 2024/25, expanding both the Plaza Premium Lounge venues and the affiliate lounge networks.
In his expanded role as Deputy CEO, Mr İşbulan will take on greater responsibility across the company. He will focus on driving ongoing global growth and creating a wider worldwide network through strategic consolidation and alliances with industry partners. The goal is to position PPG within the top 100 busiest airports globally.
Spearheading the Group’s strategic business development worldwide, Mr Bora İşbulan brings his extensive international experience to lead key projects and initiatives. This includes successfully expanding the Group’s global footprint and forging strategic partnerships in regions like EMEA, India, Latin America, and the USA.
Subsequent to the Group’s business transformation strategy for the future of travel, Mr İşbulan has led the team to re-engineer the travel demand strategy. This involves reassessing the evolving needs of the industry and direct consumers, as well as implementing aggressive growth planning and supply strategies to address the diversified requirements of global customers.
To enforce the Group’s “Build Back Better” mission post-pandemic, Mr Bora İşbulan is driving an industry-wide business re-modeling exercise. The goal is to consolidate resources and efforts to support demand and distribution, reformulate current product and distribution offerings, and reshape distribution dynamics through strategic partnerships.
Additionally, Mr İşbulan has also led the Group’s digital transformation to the next level. He introduced new Airport Passenger Service Solutions to airports, elevating information and technology-driven decision-making. This further enhances customer experience, product creation, operational efficiency, and commercialization for both partners and the Group.
